Jacques Bolley
1758 - 1832

Born in Quebec City on August 12, 1758, he will not get to know his father who disappeared after the Battle of Quebec in 1759. He spent his youth in St. Vallier de Bellechasse, where his mother settled after the fall of Quebec.

On October 2, 1781 he married Marie-Rosalie Boulet. At St. Henri de Lauzon, they will raise a familly of nine children: (Jacques, Alexandre, Rosalie, Joseph, Jean-Baptiste, Augustin, Antoine, Marguerite, Agnes).

It was with this generation that the name Bolley was changed to Beaulé.
