Based in Montreal, Quebec, we are a long-standing charity dedicated to raising funds for children around the world. To date, over a 33 year period, we have raised over $3.2 million dollars to help the children. The monies received are not used for administration. Becket Players is a federally chartered, non-profit organization whose only goal is to help children. We raise funds by presenting two fabulous shows back to back during an evening packed with high quality entertainment. Our performances take place Friday and Saturday evenings for 4 consecutive weekends in the early spring. The first show is a Broadway style musical comedy (Way-off-Broadway), followed by an amazing Cabaret style variety production (Cabaret).

Volunteers make up the backbone of the Becket Players. Every single member of the Becket Players, from the set up crew, to the performers, and the Board of Governors that administer our organization, is an unpaid volunteer. In addition, the Becket Players have a foundation responsible for distributing the funds raised to organizations helping needy children.

Funds for the Becket Players are raised through ticket sales, advertisements in our program, refreshments sold during the performances, private donations, and generous sponsorships by a wide range of local businesses both large and small. You are guaranteed to leave our midst with a smile on your face and a feeling of hope and love in your heart.

Our mission is to help children, locally and abroad, by supporting their medical, nutritional and educational needs. Blessed with an ever-changing pool of hundreds of volunteers (between 350 and 600), we successfully put on eight spectacular evenings in the spring of each year.
