AREAS OF INTERACTION

The areas of interaction are guidelines to a well rounded person, that are used in the international program at our school.

COMMUNITY & SERVICE

Community and service was one of the areas of interaction present in both the making of my project and the subject of my project. In the making of this project I visited my grandfather and talked to him on the phone. In doing this I gave him company for an afternoon and enabled him to see my new baby sister Grace. In fact this was an enjoyable afternoon for our whole family.  This project might also help other people by giving them information since it is on the internet. The subject of this project also was involved in community and service through the war. He served our country and helped them to defeat the Nazis and end the war.

HOMO FABER

Homo Faber means man made in Latin, this area of interaction occurs any time a person makes anything. It also occurs when a person invents or creates something.

Any project involves Homo Faber in some way because no matter what type of project it is you are always creating the project. In this project we had to physically make our booklet and a website. My project however has other instances of Homo Faber, for example the book from which I got most of my information was a family album that my grandfather wrote, and created.
