| PGP |
PGP is Pretty Good Privacy. It was conceived by Phil Zimmerman. Basically PGP is a method of encrypting files and messages so that only the key holder can decrypt the message. Keys are obtained from keyservers using the email address of the person whose key you need.. When you locate the person you want, his public keys will be listed. Simply import the keys and you are ready to go. There is much more to PGP, but essentially this is how it works. |
