to Canada & Dominican Republic Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) in Ottawa, an independent Canadian voluntary entity officially created in 2003 by members of the Dominican expatriate community and Canadian successful corporate businessmen. Our main mission is to enhance and support bilateral commercial relations between both countries.
CDCC is the result of hard working and partnership at the national and supranational level thanks to the participation of volunteers, the private sector, physicians, lawyers and professionals from Santo Domingo, Puerto Plata, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Quebec City. Our work is being supported by international relations experts with excellent communications and public relations skills such as volunteers like Juan Santiago in Montreal not to say the outstanding contribution of Zoom Airlines and Go Travel Direct, Michel Ste-Marie, Eli Daniels, Alex Papdakis, Jean-François Vinet, Dr. Alain Sabourin, Dr. Mayelinne de Lara, Mrs. Rosa Maria Garcia, Dr. Eugenio Matos Gomez, Orlando Grimaldi, Mr. Ernesto Reina and other distinguished Dominican and Canadian citizens.
Most of our board members have been involved for years in helping the Dominican Republic through social and community activities with donations to public hospitals covering from hundred of beds to x-ray equipment, wheelchairs, clothing and more recently hundreds of computers going to Dominican public schools including military equipments to the Dominican Air Force Base in San Isidro. This Chamber has an array of commitments and objectives directed towards the enhancement of free enterprise, investment promotion, community service and governance improvements.
