Aniko Koranyi is co-founder and President of the Canadian Writers Society since 2004, and past president of the Canadian Authors Association (Montreal Branch) from 2000 through 2004.

She is an award-winning poet, novelist, playwright, short-story writer, fabulist, periodical freelancer and artist. She has a B.A. in Psychology, a B.F.A. in Art History and collegial certification in Creative Writing and in Drawing.
