Hello my fellow Linus sisters,
Thank you all for all of your hard work and dedication this past year. Project Linus has grown again this year and I welcome the newcomers and give thanks again to the veterans. In my life, I have always thought that the times I have spent making someone else's life better were the times that made my own life more purposeful, peaceful, and so fulfilled. There is no happiness like the joy you feel when you have done something to bring a smile to someone's face. The smile you see, is the smile you've given. How wonderful! This is how I feel about my own experience with Project Linus. During my darkest times, a letter of thanks will come and it will be like a beacon of light for me. I feel that our work is so important and I am most priveledged to have you all as fellow volunteers in this great effort. Thank you all once again and please keep in touch. It's so nice to share stories. A special thanks to Reeny for bringing this newsletter to us. It will help us all feel part of a bigger group and we will know we have something to share with each other.
