harpist Olga
Gross, and flutist Timothy Malloch, the Duo Lyra has been delighting
listeners in the Montreal area since 1992. These talented and experienced musicians specialize in providing
elegant music for all occasions. The
impressive beauty of Olga’s six foot tall gold harp, and the rich sound of
Tim’s gold flute will set the stage for your very special event.
Planning a cocktail reception,
corporate event, wedding ceremony, conference, private party, brunch, or gala
soirée? The enchanting sounds of the harp and flute will add the perfect
ambiance to any social gathering. Our music carries well indoors and
outdoors while allowing for comfortable conversation. Amplification is available
for extra large venues.
Duo Lyra offers an extensive
repertoire that appeals to all age groups and ranges from Bach to the Beatles.
Popular standards, Broadway hits, Movie themes, Classical works, Celtic, Italian,
Jewish, and Sacred music - we cater to a wide variety of musical
tastes and entertainment needs.
The Duo can be augmented with
a violoncello, a singer, violin and/or trumpet. We work
with the finest musicians in Montreal and can help you choose the perfect
ensemble. For a more intimate event, the harp alone can add the
special touch to make your day memorable.
