| SLEB PROJECT: 10 ONTARIO Architecture:
Cardinal Hardy & Associates Architects Formerly known as 10 Ontario, this old industrial building has accommodated through the years textile businesses, a printing press and recently all sorts of artists. It's a major landmark in the city of Montréal. The project SLEB, be the restoration of this building, is specially structuring for the revitalisation of this area. To the heart of the identified zone to become the new "quartier des spectacles", adding to it the mixed residential and commercial functions, be the pledge of a rich street activity, all around the clock. Composed of 106 dwelling units, of true urban lofts, having access to a terrace, a swimming pool and an observation tower on the roof, and of a completely commercial ground floor, this project is noteworthy by the quality of the spaces offered and the strict respect observed of the integrity of the building. |

Cardinal Hardy et Associés Architectes Ancien bâtiment industriel ayant hébergé autrefois des entreprises de textile, une imprimerie et plus récemment des artistes de toute sorte, le 10 Ontario est un point repère important de la ville de Montréal. Le projet SLEB, soit la restauration de cet édifice, en est un spécialement structurant pour la revitalisation de ce secteur. Au coeur de la zone identifiée pour devenir le nouveau quartier des spectacles, il y greffe la fonction mixte résidentielle et commerciale, soit le gage d'une activité riche tout le jour durant. Composé de 106 unités d’habitation, de vrais lofts urbains, ayant accès à une terrasse, une piscine et une tour d'observation sur le toit, et d'un rez-de-chaussée entièrement commercial, ce projet se démarque par la qualité des espaces offerts et le respect observé de l'intégrité du bâtiment d'origine |
