Product Evaluation Phase- When in the product evaluation phase you may need to prepare RFP, evaluate ERP, and sign contracts. This will bring you to Implementing phase one.
Implementing Phase One- When in this phase you may want to select a consulting partner, implement financials, and conduct go-live readiness assessments.
Maintaining Value- during this phase there will be few changes. There will be an emphasis on getting from ERP investment. You will want to get a fresh look at business procedures and continue to customize the solution where costs justified are typical maintaining value activities. The value of ERP may need to be extended.
Extending the Overall Value- One may choose to upgrade to current ERP release and add complementary functions. You have many different functions to choose from, EDI, advance planning, CRM, business intelligence, SRM, and many more.
