For those who like genealogy:
Family tree of my father's side (Antonio Lessard) and mother's side (Monique Dubreuil)

Tome 1 - A Respiratory Therapist, it means something to you?

Well I admit it, I'm one of them.  Curious?

I suggest you a small visit to the
Sainte-Foy College where you can learn Respiratory Therapy and Anaesthesia Technologies.  I gratuated from this institution in 1976. For "R.T.s" working in a multiethnic environment, a table of the minima words to learn is available.

Tome 2 - Ambulances.

Urgences-santé

W
ell, from Respiratory Therapy
to ambulances there is only a small
step. This step finally lasted for 9
years, from 1981 to 1990 through 3
paths: Supervisor of field ressources,
Chief of the dispatch centre, and,
finally High technologies and
Telecommunications Advisor.

A very instructive site for those involved in pre-hospital emergency medical services is Urgences-Santé (ambulances services in Montreal). Interesting information and a very complete list of links. In the pre-hospital area, I also suggest you theses sites:

Also:
The Montreal 9-1-1 Centre
, an organization that I was involved a lot with between 1994 and 1990 in regard with the implementation and follow-up of the implementation of the 9-1-1 service for the Montreal Island.

Tome 3 - The McGill University Health Centre.

Logo CUSM

After a decade at Urgences-santé, it is good to be in a "little bit" less stressing environment.  First in charge of Telecommunications and Transport at the Montreal General Hospital the mandate was extended to the Royal Victoria Hospital and then, with the merger of the MUHC hospitals I was nominated to take care of the Telecommunications for the MUHC and now Associate-director of Operations for Information Services..

The (McGill University Health Centre (MU
HC)  regroup six hospitals of the Montreal area affiliated to the McGill University (The Montreal Children's Hospital, The Montreal General Hospital, The Royal Victoria Hospital, the Montreal Chest Institute, the Montreal Neurological Hospital and the Lachine Hospital.

Tome 4 - Telecommunications.

CRTCH
In 1992 a group of telecommunications managers working in the health care area decided to regroup to favorize the professional development of the members and to improve the exchage of information. The
"Comité des responsables des télécommunications de Centres Hospitaliers" or CRTCH (Health Care Telecommunications Managers Committee) was born. I have been President of the group for 5 years, from 1992 to 1997. I am now Webmaster of their web site.  I therefore invite you to visit them.

This site host a complete list of tutorials, companies and others in telecommunications.

Tome 5 - Free time.

When I have some free time (sic) I study at the Iniversité du Québec Télé-Université. I completed a certificate in Information Systems applied to the organization in1999 and a Management Cetificate in 2002. Many different courses are offered through the Télé-Université.  If you to have free time, you will certainly find  there something interesting.

I was involved in the organization of the former Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix for 23 years as a group leader in the medical team. I have also been a group leader for two years in the medical team of the Montreal

Marathon.Walking is of interest to you ?  Visit the site of François Alarie (site in French).

I am also a fan of anything close to science-fiction (who says it's fiction), Voyager, Deep Space 9, Contact, etc .  If you wish to read the lastest UFO reports, consult the National UFO Reporting Centre.

Tome 6 - The dessert

Well, well, on the request of many visitors, I am bringing back the view from Florence.  I was lucky to visit this italian beauty twice after I trained for a year at the "Université du Québec" in italian language.

Duomo

Saluti a tutti gli amici italiani.
Italia

If you wish to relax a little bit, I suggest you visit the live cam from the Duomo of one of the most beautiful city of the world, Firenze (Florence). If you prefer a more quiet city, I suggest Rimini an italian balnear area that I had the pleasure to visit.  You may also see a live view of many other cities around the worlst many other cities around the world.   Don't forget to consider the time zones.

Suggestions and comments are welcome, do not hesitate:
