Location:
The conference venue will be the
Albena Resort, one of the most marvellous resorts on the Black Sea
Coast in South-East Europe. Albena is 30 km from Varna,
150 km from
Burgas and 490 km from Sofia, where there are international airports.
Albena has 43 hotels (2-4 stars) located on the beach or on the nearby
hill with breathtaking sea and forest views (see
map). The Albena Congress Centre
prepares, organizes and hosts congress and business events at the
Albena Resort and coordinates all activities associated with these
events within the resort area. The NATO ASI will be organized in the
month of May, when most of the hotels are silent and empty. This will
guarantee calm and peaceful conditions, stimulating successful
communication and transfer of knowledge and ideas between scientists at
the picturesque seaside. The conferences will be held mostly in the
Dobrudja Hotel, which possesses all required facilities.
