When 16-year-old Charlie wakes up, his biggest problem is getting lunch money from his mom and handing in an essay on time.

By mid-morning, he witnesses something so traumatic it could tear his family apart.

Throughout the course
of a day, he grows from
a boy to a man by
having to decide what
it is to “do the right thing”
– and recognize his own, flawed humanity.
