Medieval Collection

We developped these patterns with the help of Evelyne Bouchard after reading many verse chronicles . We have also looked closely at iconography including stained glass windows, illuminated designs in roman bibles, embroidered pieces and many statues like those in Chartres cathedral. We experimented with many prototypes and developped our patterns, which should fit on modern bodies, while keeping in mind the styling and cut of the times.

All patterns include historical notes about fabrics, colours, trims, sewing stiches,  accessories and the way to wear them.
