2nd Period - Frank Beardmore & Co. (Sutherland Art Ware)

Frank Beardmore and Co. manufactured at their Sutherland Pottery  in Fenton, Staffordshire, a large number of table and hotel ware for the Canadian market between 1903 and 1914. Their production included hand painted creamware and basaltine for table services bearing the Dominion of Canada Arms and a series of hotel ware, probably for hunting or fishing lodges  under the name of "Canadian Landscape" series decked with enamelled provincial arms.
