Austrian and German Production
Before the First World
War, Austria and Germany produced large
numbers of commemorative and souvenir pieces for the Canadian market, some decorated with Cobalt blue
borders and gilding as well as many utility and tableware pieces, adorned with
the arms
of the Dominion
of Canada.
