4th Period - Beauce, Laurentian, Medalta and Other Canadian Companies

Before the Second World War, there were few examples of Canadian heraldic china made in Canada. Some Royal commmemoratives were manufactured by Sovereign Potters of Hamilton, Ontario and tableware for the Military was produced by Medalta in Alberta. Since 1945, companies such as Beauceware and Laurentian Art Pottery in Quebec, Benawe, Canadian Art China and H & R. Johnson (Canada) in Ontario,   Medicine Hat and Haycroft in Alberta, have produced heraldic souvenirs and commemoratives for the Canadian market.
