Kitson Towler and comissioned by the Monarchist League of Canada to
commemorate the Silver Jubilee of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II and the Silver
Jubilee Visit of Her Majesty to Canada in October 1977, featuring the
portrait of H.M. the Queen and four Canadian governors general:
Vincent Massey (1952-1959); General Georges-P. Vanier (1959-1967); Roland
Michener (1967-1974) and Jules Léger (1974-1979). The plate bears the
1957 arms of Canada, and the snowflake insignia of the Order of
Canada created in 1967 (No. 90 of 500). |
