4th Period - Universities 

The collector interested in university arms will find a wealth of material. Many academic institutions possess a coat of arms and many students want to taste their beer from a stein adorned with their university arms. Steins, in different sizes and shapes were produced by big manufacturers or small potteries, sometimes bearing specific dates. Universities also produced souvenirs and tableware with their arms.
