Stock Market Project - Day 1

Read through the assignment sheet that is given to you.
Form a group of approximately 4 students (minimum of 3, maximum of 5).
Choose a Team Leader who will lead the group until the beginning of the next class.
Visit New York Stock Exchange Made Easy and use the information you find there to complete the Stock Market Terms worksheet.
Note: These terms will be on the upcoming test.
Visit Virtual Stock Exchange and register for the competition using the following information:
Competition ID: villa
Competition password: economics
Begin researching and buying stocks. You do not have to use your entire $100 000 today, but it will be to your advantage to begin investing the entire amount as soon as possible.
Reminder: Evaluation sheets are due at the beginning of the next computer lab period.
