What the Bush prophecy really meant.

Lets look at the prophecy:

The Lord says: George Bush shall not leave his office before the end of his second term, but rather shall be killed before that time.

Thomas says since it says that he will not leave, he cannot be killed.

The prophecy was given on Bush first term.

The prophecy was saying that Bush will be relect for a second term. That's the way to understand the "before the end of".

When a President is reelect for a second term, he cannot leave office before the end of it except by a special reason like being killed.

That is what the prophecy  was saying.

Now, Thomas says that the meening was "politically killed." Then, we can never prove him wrong. That's a clever way to keep is status. By doing that, I too could be taken for a prophet.

Again, they cannot be use for anything else either. I remember one of the prophecies that ask us to tell people about them so they can remember when they fulfilled. But remember what?

Since we have to wait for the fulfillment before deciding what they mean, there is nothing to remember at all.

The only good thing about them is that they tells us to read our Bible. That is what I did and that is what really brang me to salvation.  That may seems like a good reason for me to continue spreading them, but that is not true. The Lord brang me to salvation by using them, that does not mean I have to participate in something that is clearly not of him. The Lord uses sometimes evil to bring people to him, like hardship and bad events. Does that mean we have to do evil ourself? No. There is enough evil in the world for the Lord to use.

I prefer preaching the gospel. It is clear, and that is what Paul used to bring salvation to the nations. Not prophecies or signs and wonders.

May God bless you all.
