I always dreamed of owning my own business. Something that would look after my family forever. The problem... I was not about to start over AGAIN working for someone else. I was tired of building someone else's dream and not being in control of my own future. I was 58 years old and beginning to feel that I was getting too old to start the business I had always dreamt about. I didn't know exactly what that business was. But, I did always dream about what the perfect business would give me... A big income. The quality time to spend with my family and DO the things that created value and meaning for me. A business vehicle that would look after any possible thing that I could ever face.
So, I began to look for a business that could give me all of those things. And, I hoped that once I found it...that I would like and enjoy whatever the business turned out to be. My options were limited because I lacked a specialized education. So - I looked at franchising. I looked at starting my own business. I even got into a routine of trying to actually invent an idea, or product, or business ourselves! Every time...I came up empty.
Then...I got exposed to network marketing. I was willing to look at almost anything. So I took a BIG look. I read books. I went to opportunity meetings. I couldn't believe what I discovered. I felt incredible excitement build inside me once I discovered the true income potential in this industry. I was blown away by the freedom and lifestyle that people enjoyed in Multi Level. I remember saying: "if this is real...I am going to do this...and failure is NOT an option". So, I began a quest...to search for the very best network marketing company I could find.
The rest is history. In less than 12 months, my dreams have come true. I am so thankful for the financial blessings and good fortune I have found with my home-based business.
Today, my goals have changed a bit. Success is not merely financial. I look forward to the camaraderie I share with others who have the same desire for success. For me, success is about building relationships with other people. After all, I still believe that the best is yet to come.
It was only several months ago that I was dreaming of creating wealth for myself. Today, I dream of raising up and developing other leaders whose families can create wealth from home. And the great news is that I am achieving that...and you can meet them, and talk to them, and even have the chance to be one of them.
