The Anchor Café restaurant (Port Aux Choix, Newfoundland)

Located on Fisher st. in Port Aux Choix.

General impressions:

The Anchor Café is immediately recognizable. The front of the restaurant is in the
shape of a ship's bow. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of it due to rain and
wind.

Inside, you are seeped in the warmth of Newfoundland culture. The walls of the
restaurant are decorated with all sorts of items related to Newfoundland fishing.
Perched on the wall is a television set playing videos of typical Newfoundland folk
entertainment. I found this to add measurably to my dining experience.

The Anchor Café offers a wide menu selection. The food is good and the
prices reasonable.
