He was born on April 28th 1804 in the Argenteuil Seigniory and was baptised on May 19th in Rigaud. His godparents were Hiacinthe Gauthier and Marie Josephte Rorterieux. A note on the register informs us that his father didn't attend the ceremony. He was married to Angélique Villeneuve on September 16th 1823 in Rigaud. I found them thirteen children. They lived in Hawkesbury in Ontario.
