About Us

            GEP Foundation, (a not-for-profit European organization) founded in 1990 - 1991, is dedicated to the following domains:

* interdisciplinary fundamental scientific research;

* contract research (industrial optimization, biosciences, nanotechnologies);

* education:

  A. PRESinPostDocAdos - a program since 1974  to guide the adolescents toward doctoral level research;

  B. mathematics for competitions;

  C. educational program in applied topography.

            Since 2001, the GEP Foundation, renamed MontrealTech (Institut de Technologie de Montréal), continues the activity in Canada, as a not-for-profit organization:

* a carrying on above A, B, C, in a thorough manner:

- interdisciplinary scientific research with emphasis on interdisciplinary sciences as nano-technologies, biosciences, applied Dynamical Systems (dynamical and structural  stability and control), communication technology, applied disturbed motions (aerospace and maritime engineering, biodynamics and hemodynamics, disturbed motions of the ionized gas and starbursts theory, dynamics and control of structures - smart structures stability);

- an intensive "training" (weekend interdisciplinary doctoral level scientific research circle for 12-18 years old students - PRESinPostDocAdos), with the purpose of their participation to the high level scientific activities (scientific research, congresses, doctoral programs in Riemannian Geometry, Biomathematics, nano-technologies);

* new activities:

- the publishing house "MontrealTech", with emphasis on interdisciplinary sciences;

- the 5-hypostases of the "MontrealTech Journal", series: MontrealTech, MontrealInf (MontrealInformatics), MontrealSoc, MontrealArt, MontrealPol;

- we were part of the organizing committee of an international science congress, organized by "Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal" – 2001;

- the organization of the 2005 MontrealTech Congress, Niagara Falls - Canada.

            In recognition of our results, one can mention the followings:

- the distinguished results obtained in Canada, honored by the title of Officer of the Order "Cultural Merit", "Scientific Research" class;

- the presentation/publication of the results in prestigious European or North-American scientific journals or publishing houses (France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Spain, UK, Canada, United States);
