Sambrabec inc., a wholly Canadian owned company, has been working in the field of windmill technology since 1985 with total investments of over $1,500,000. The company has been working for four years on the development of a unique windmill technology, which has been patented in Canada, U.S.A. and various countries, and is currently being commercialized in national markets (fish and game clubs, telecommunications, agriculture) and in international markets (Brazil, Haiti, Tunisia, Moroco).PROFILE OF SAMBRABEC INC.
The company was founded in 1984. It has successfully worked on Brazilian and Caribbean markets. Sambrabec inc. acquired the invention of a revolutionary turbine, working with all fluids (water, steam, gas and wind), and has developed a wind application which has major competitive advantages and which opens access to clean, economical and individual energy solutions. Collaboration with universities and state agencies (Canadian National Research Centre) helped to finalize a marketable product. Units have been successfully working for more than eight continuous years.

turbine has been honoured by the Excellency
Prize of TRANSTECH INTERNATIONAL,
in a Montreal international event in 1987 amongst technologies coming from
22 different countries, and recently was granted the Excellency
Grand Prize for environmental technology, by the Quebec
Environmental Foundation and the well known engineer group SNC-Lavalin.
In 1992, Sambrabec inc. concluded in Brazil a Joint-Venture with Brazilian partners, under the name of Braseólica Ltda. Sambrabec completed a transfer of technology and sales began since 1993.
In 1994, Sambrabec inc. undertake the development of a 150 kW unit for the realisation of a 1 MW wind farm that will be installed in Gaspesie. The electricity produced will be sold to Hydro-Québec.
In 1996, Sambrabec inc. establish distribution
contracts in Morrocco, in Haïti and in 1997, in Senegal.
