The Kingdom of Dark Legends
We are a Networth kingdom. We win land through constant attacking. Our aim is to
become powerful - dreaded by our enemies and trusted by our allies. The kingdom
consists of provinces - each led by an individual and respected ruler who in his
way contributes to the success of the Kingdom.
Kingdom rules.
General
1. Activity. The Kingdom will make everything for you, help you out with
resources and advice when you need it and protect you from aggressors. You owe
the Kingdom one thing - activity. You must log on regularly (hard to put a
definite limit, but less than twice almost every day would be a problem). It all
comes down to if you think the game is entertaining. If not - you should ask
yourself what you do here ...
"Accidents" can happen to everybody. But you must notify the monarch if you plan
to be away.
2. Participation in forums. The forums are of great importance. Whether you are
experienced or not you will get valuable advice in the forums. You will also be
able to help others there. Communication in the forums is also crucial for
coordination and cooperation.
3. Prosperity. Everybody should try to make their provinces prosper in one way
or another. This is individual and it is natural that provinces are different.
You should either be attacker who wins land on the battlefield - or wizard/thief
who explores land and supports the attackers during wars. (You can also be a
hybrid, but it is difficult.) Make efforts to protect your province against
invasion and thievery/magic attacks.
4. Attitude. Be friendly towards you Kingdom-mates. They are your allies in this
game. You depend on them - they depend on you. It is never (!!) a shame to ask
for help and it is an honour to help a friend. (But remember that a piece of
good advice can be better than a sack of gold ...)
5. Foreign relations. You Kingdom comes first. You are allowed to get involved
in province-based networks outside the Kingdom and you can make friends with
just anybody. But when we are at war the Kingdom always comes in the first
place.
6. Have fun, let it be what it is - an entertaining game. No more, no less.
Don't let it intrude too much in your real life. Your girlfriend is your
girlfriend, your family is your family, your studies are your studies and your
work is your work.
Politics
1. If you voted for the current elected monarch, you might be asked to change
your votes for another member of the council when necessary.
War
1. At all time you have to be respectful towards our enemies.
2. During wars you are not allowed to conduct your own diplomacy towards the
enemy (but you can chat with them as long as you don't reveal classified
information ...)
3. Participation in war. You prepare yourself BEFORE the wars in order to
contribute DURING the wars. Obviously - everybody is allowed to fail, and
sometimes you are just unlucky. But make EFFORTS in every possible way to
contribute. Ask for advice if you feel that you need it. Out of Hostility/War
attacks and operations are NOT permitted unless otherwise, explicitly,
instructed by the monarch.
Failing to follow the rules
1. While it can be understandable to disobey one rule under certain
circumstances (you'll have to explain yourself), any province caught not
following the rules will be asked to defect after being given a single warning.
If the player doesn't defect, we kill him.
