Wally Byam was the inventor of the Airstream trailer back in the 1930's. Wally loved to travel and explore all parts of the world and did it in an Airstream. Wally developed the concept of Caravaning in a group to see the world from Capetown to Cairo and to wherever the spirit took him. The club was formed upon his principles and bears his name.

You name it, we do it; from campfires to sightseeing to seminars to great foood, its hard not to have a lot of fun at our rallies. Since these get-togethers are located at different campgrounds and towns around Quebec Province, they afford you the opportunity to visit a new place every month. There is always something of interest for everyone at Unit rallies, what's more important is while meeting new people, you are going to form friendships that will last a lifetime.

Each year, during the last week of June through the 4th of July the International Rally is held at various locations around the USA & Canada. It is the largest rally for the club and gives members the chance to see old friends and meet new ones from all over the country. Hundreds of members work very hard to make this a fun time and a successful rally. This year the rally will be held in Sioux Falls in South Dakota from June 27th to July 4th 2001.

Yes, the club really does offer caravans. There are several types of caravans to enjoy, Units Caravans, Regional caravans, National caravans and Overseas caravans. All carvans range in length from days to months and in size from 10 to 60 Airstreams.
