Sonar

Description

The sonar sends out a sound wave 10 or 30 times a second. The frequency is determined by a switch on the sonar’s housing. The time required by the sound wave to cover the distance between an object and the sonar is used to calculate that distance. The sonar functions properly if used within a range of 0.5 to 10 meters.

Use: The sonar lets you measure velocities, accelerations, displacements and distances.
